The Chester County EMS Council, Inc. sends our deepest condolences to Paramedic/Firefighter Michael Lessar’s family, friends, and colleagues at Royersford Fire Department. Paramedic/Firefighter Lessar served northern Chester County from Friendship Ambulance’s substation in Spring City Borough.
PASSING OF PARAMEDIC/FIREFIGHTER MICHAEL LESSAR
With a heavy heart, Royersford Fire Department and Friendship Ambulance announce the passing of Paramedic/Firefighter Michael Lessar yesterday due to complications from COVID-19. Before being employed with the Royersford Fire Department, Paramedic/Firefighter Lessar served his country as a member of the United States Army followed by a career with the Reading Fire Department. Paramedic/Firefighter Lessar joined RFD in 2018 as a part-time EMS provider before transitioning to one of the first full-time positions in the Department’s history. His contributions to RFD and the Spring-Ford community included being a clinically sound practitioner and being the catalyst for many improvements within the EMS Division to increase efficiency during patient care. Please keep Paramedic/Firefighter Lessar’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
